As a coach, how can VTS assist me?

As coaches, we all become prisoners of our own gym. We don’t see how other coaches teach skills and what is being emphasized. JSVTS will bring other coaches to you. Video demonstrations of drills, skills, teaching techniques will all allow us to present the best of information to our athletes. The video analysis will present to you, or your athletes, the visual model that will speed the learning curve. JSVTS will assist coaches from beginning coaches thru the most experienced coach at every age group level you are coaching.

JSVTS will offer the best fitness, strength and jump training program available for your athletes.

The ability to interact with staff coaches to talk about issues of the day.

Can I download video?

Some videos are available for download, depending upon the presenter and demonstrators.

Can I upload video for evaluation and feedback?

The ability to upload video is possible. The feature of VTS staff evaluating players, teams and training sessions is available. Contact VTS for additional information.

Do I need Dartfish software on my computer to view the videos?

No, we do all the editing with Dartfish software and place the video on the Dartfish TV website for viewing.

How can Dartfish analysis software assist a coach?

Dartfish analysis software is the premier software available in skill analysis. Dartfish provides a coach or athlete frame by frame and side by side analysis of skills and team systems. Written, verbal and visual feedback is available so the athlete can see themselves in action and take their technique to a higher level.

How do I use the available video on VTS?

Coaches can view the videos to raise their knowledge of volleyball skills, practice organization and team systems.

Coaches bring in players and teams to look at skills, systems, and drills for a visual model of what the coach would like to replicate in training sessions.

Coaches can use VTS to develop physical training programs for their teams and athletes.

Coaches can incorporate new drills and techniques into their training sessions.

Coaches can see the top coaches in the country demonstrating how they teach the game.

How does the site work?

All video for VTS is located on Dartfish TV. When membership is activated, you will receive a user name and password for Volleyball Training Solutions on Dartfish TV. You will have access to the entire video library, a private page to save favorite videos, a search mechanism to allow you to filter through all the videos for specific coaches, subject areas, etc.
